We offer interesting locations for photography and filming, from small scale documentaries and photoshoots to major feature films
The Horniman has been used extensively as a location by the BBC, ITV and other channels for a range of programmes and publicaitions, from dramas and documentaries, to children's television and fashion photoshoots.
Its unique spaces include a Victorian-era Natural History gallery, with original specimens and wooden cases, a magnificent Victorian Conservatory, stunning Aquarium displays, and a number of beautiful Gardens locations with spectacular views over London.
The Museum houses over 350,000 objects from all over the world covering world cultures (anthropology), natural history and musical instruments, many of which are available for filming and photography by special arrangement. Horniman curators for each of the collection areas are also available for interview about their areas of knowledge.
Please note that interior filming and photography will typically need to take place outside the Museum's opening hours of 10.30am-5.30pm. Further guidelines are outlined in the enqiry form, available for download below.
