Art Makers takes on an outdoor theme this month, with chances to create Bobbing Butterflies, Caterpillar Maracas and Creepy Crawly Puppets to celebrate National Insect Week.

  • Pick up some local produce at our Farmers' Market, every Saturday morning
  • Come to our next Hear It Live! harpsichord performance to see Medea Bindewald perform on our 18th century instrument
  • Get Hands On with Masks, Planet Earth and Animals in various handling sessions throughout the month
  • Join our Sunday Discovery for All sessions, giving you the chance to explore our Hands on Base
  • Be whisked away in A World of Stories, every Sunday afternoon

Explore the outdoors and discover our new Extremes Garden, displaying plants with amazing adaptations to some fo the harshest environments on earth.

Our family-friendly exhibition Extremes is open until November, while Whisper of the Stars and Art of Harmony are here unti September.
