About this event

Raise the Roof is part of Learn Create Explore, our new programme of adult workshops and courses.
Come and sing songs from jazz to gospel, from old crooners to contemporary pop, from cultures across the world. We welcome everyone – all you need are vocal chords!
Each term participants have the opportunity to perform in a concert at the Horniman Museum.

Kirsty Martin is a Choral Activist and MD for Hullabaloo Community Quire in Brighton. She is a prolific composer and arranger for community choirs, and travels extensively to share her infectious and joyful funkysoulybluesyfolky vocal vision with singers nationwide!
