Join British analogue electronic collective Metamono in the Gardens Pavilion for an evening of specially composed music for silent film.
In Secrets of Nature, Metamono apply their uncompromising manifesto to capture the spirit of resourcefulness, imagination and charm embodied in a series of ground-breaking short films from the early days of cinema. Flowers open before your eyes, fungus grows from a fly’s footprints, a cuckoo pushes its siblings from the nest.
By placing these films in a new musical context, Metamono intend to reignite in the audience the sense of wonder in nature that these characteristically British films first produced over a century ago.
This event is part of the Chelsea Fringe.
